A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIEIVT)SWOOD, "
TEXAS, DESTGNATING A PORTION OF SUCH CITY' S EXTRATERRITORlAL
JURISDICTTON AS AN INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Municipal Annexation Act, compiled as Article
970a, Vernon' s Texas Civil Statutes, authorizes the governing body
of a city to designate any part of the area located in� such city� s
extraterritorial juri.sdiction as an Industrial District; and
WHEREAS, it i_s deemed in the best interest of the City of
Friendswood to designate a pa,rt of such city' s extraterritorial
jurisdiction as an Industrial District; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIENDS4�TOOD,
STATE OF TEXAS:
Section l. That certain tract of land described in Exhibit
A, which is attached hereto and in alI things made a pa,rt hereof,
a,nd which is located within the exclusive extraterritorial
jurisdiction of the City of Friendswood be, a.nd it is hereby,
designated as an Industrial District, ta be hereafter known as
the Friendswood Industrial District No. 1 of the City of
Friendswood.

BEI?1G a 969.30 acre tract of land in the Perry and Austin League, �
Abstract 55, . }iarris County, Texas, and being more particularly '
desc�ibed by metes and bounds as £ollows: • '
BEGII3NING at the intersection of the Northwesterly right-of-way line of
FM Road 2351, based on 120 feet in width, and the Southwesterly line of Beamer .
Road (formerly known as the Choate Road) , based on 60 feet in width;
THENCE in a Northwesterly direction and along the Southwesterly line of
Beamer Road a distance of 8,153.59 feet more or less to a point that is 120.00
feet at right angles to the Northwesterly line of the Perry and Austin League,
Abstract 55;
THENCE in a Southwesterly direction and 120.00 feet at right angles and
paral.lel to the Northwesterly line of the Perry and Austin League a distance of
7,200.00 feet, more or less to a point in the centerline of Clear Creek;
THE�ICE in a Southeasterly direction and along the centerline of Clear
Creek ta a point in the ?�orthwesterly right-of-way line of i?M 2351;
THENCE the following courses and distances with the northwesterly right-
of-way line of FM 2351:
(1) N 29° �00'00" E 599. 13 feet to a P.C. of a curve to the right,
(2) Northeasterly with said curve to the right having a radius of
1492.69 feet, an arc length of 852.78 feet to the P. T. of .

(3} N 61°44' 00" E 591 .30 feet to the P.C. of a curve to the left,
(4) Northeasterly, with said curve to the left ha�ing a radius of
1850. 08 feet, an arc length of 518.79 feet to the P.T. of. said

(6) Northeasterly, with said curve to the left having a radius of
