BE IT RESOLVffi? BY Tf� CITY COUNCIL OF Tf� CITY OF FRIENDS1i00D, TSRAS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the
holding of a special meeting of said Council at 9:00 a.m. , June 12, 1996,
at Ramada Inn/Nasa, 1301 Nasa Road One, Houston, Texas, is necessary due
to special circumstances where planning is required, to wit;
The City Council will discuss the fiscal activities for 1996/1997
for the City. The City Manager will facilate }he meeting. In
addition, it has been determined that the planning session be
conducted at a neutral site, that is, one free of political
influence or distraction.
Section 2. The City Council h�reby further finds and determines that
the holding of the special meeting described in Section l, hereof is
necessary to protect and preserve the health, safety, and general welfare
of the citizens of tne City of Friendswood, Texas.

Section 3. The action of ±he Mayor in calling the sp�cial meeting
described in Section 1, hereof is hereby in all things approved,
ratified, and confirmed.
