FRIENDSWOOD DRIVE IN THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS FOR SPECIFIC USE - BED AND BREAKFAST; DESCRIBING SAID PROPERTY ; AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY AS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 84-15; AND CONTAINING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT. � * � �t �t �t �t �t � � � WHEREAS, JESS AND ANNETTE WILLIAMS are the Reeord Owner of a lot 4 and lot 5 of block 2 of the Harvey and Stout Subdivision situated within the corporate limits of the City of Friendswood , Texas, said tract bein� more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, said traet of land presently has a zoning elassification of ORIGINAL BUSINESS DISTRICT pursuant to Ordinanee No . 84-15, passed and approved the 19th day of November , 198�+ , same being the City of Friendswood Zoning Ordinance ; and WHEREAS, record owner' s have made application to the City of Friendswood for a Specific Use Permit , authorizing the use of said tract of land as a SPECIFIC USE-BED AND BREAKFAST as authorized by the City' s Zoning Ordinanee ; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Couneil of the City of Friendswood have conducted , in the time and manner and after notice required by law and the Zoning Ordinanee of the City, a publie hearing on such request for applieation for Specifie Use Permit ; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission presented Mayor and Couneil a recommendation to approve the request for Specifie Use-Bed and Breakfast. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, STATE OF TEXAS: Seetion 1 . The faets and matters set Forth in the preamble of this Ordinanee are hereby found to be true and correct . 1 Section 2. The tract of land located at 312 South Friendsood Drive described in Exhibit "A" hereto and made a part hereof is here Specific Use Permit authorizing the use of said traet of land as a SPECIFIC USE-BED AND BREAKFAST as authorized by the City of Friendswood Zoning ordinance . Section 3 . The Specific Use of sueh traet of land authorized and permited by this ordinanee is BED AND BREAKFAST. Section 4. The Zoning District Map of the City of Friendswood shall be revised and amended to show the SPECIFIC USE - BED AND BREAKFAST permitted on said tract of land as provided in Section 2 hereof, with the appropriate reference thereon to the number and effective date of this Ordinanee and brief deseription of the nature of the change. Secion 5. This Ordinanee shall in no manner amend , change , supplement , or revise any provisions of any ordinance of the City of Friendswood , save and except the specific use permit granted this tract of land deseribed in Section 2 hereof. Bed & Breakfast: We will provide overnight accommodations for guests and serve them a Continental breakfast. b. See accompanying survey by Shanks Land Surveyors of Texas, Inc. c. See accompanying survey and building details. No new structures proposed at this time. d. Existing drainage allows water to move from buildings to front and side streets. Rear property drains to Laurel Street by way of drainage easement on adjoining property. Significant natural features include numerous trees. e. All landscaping and screening buffers will remain intact. No major changes are planned. f. Curb cuts, public and private streets, parking (both existing and proposed) , and pedestrian wa2ks are noted on the attached survey. There are no plans for loading areas. No changes planned for existing lighting. Outside trash storage facilities are not planned at this time (the Health Department has approved residential curb-side pick-up for this facility) . g. The existing stone (21") and wrought iron (31") fence is shown on the accompanying site plan. It is not a means of screening. h. All signs will be devised to blend with facilities. Signage will comply with City Sign Ordinance. Current plans incorporate the existing stone/wrought iron fence with proposed signage.
