84-15, as amended, originally adopCed the 19th day of November,
1984, and be�ng the Zoning Ordinance of the City, is hereby
amended by Cransferring and re-let�ering Paragraph 0 df Section
7 from Paragraph 0 to Paragraph Q of Section 7.
Section 2. Said C�.Cy of �`riendswood, Texas , Ordinance
No. 84-15 �.s hereby further amended by adding a new Paragraph 0
o£ Sect3on 7 to provide as follows :
"0. (BP) Busirtess P�rk DisCrict.
The Business Park Uis�ric� is intended Co encourage
and permi� l�ghti manufacturing and/or service
operaCions and auxiliary retail and wholesale sales.
The �usiness(es) may be individually vwneci or leased
by a common owner. The Cypes af uses , and Che design
exterior appearance, so controlled as Co maintain the
integrity and be generally compatible with ad�acent
surrounding residential and commercial development.
All services, manufacturir,g and storage are to be
indoors . This District shal.� access or abut ma�or

Development of a Businesg Paxk DisCricC shall be
develvped on a minimum of 1. 5 acres and ahall be
sub,je�C to site plan approval by the City Council. . �
1. Area and Height Regulations : Minimum size
Buainess PaYk one and one-half (1 1/2} acre,
maximum height 35' , no structure wi�hin a BP
sh��I be located within 25.' of an exterior BP
boundary (an exterior BP boundary is one tha�
abuts � zone other than BP) .

Administra�ive Offic3.a1 and Specific Use Permit
�hat may be recommended by Che Planning and
Zoning Commission wi�hin the BP District under
cerCain circumstances and conditions.

4. Perm�.tr�d uaes: Usss permitted in a BP, Business
Park Distirict, are set forth in Section 7-P,
Perm�.tred Use Table.
S. Light manu�acturing is permitted only if limited
to final machining, assembly, Ceating, processing
and packaging into finished goods from raw
ma�eri.als produced elsewhere, such as electronic
parts assembly, medical. products groceesing,
mechanicsl parts assembly and aerospace equipmenr
processing .
6, Truck docking facil�.ties are permi��ed provided
. �hey are located in Ghe rear or side yard and
screened from view of ad,jacent street
righ�-o£-way.
7. Screening devicea for re£use containers are
requi.red.
8. Parking shall be designa�ed on the Parking Gr�up
section af the Permi�ted Use Tabl�. However a
min�mum 4 pnrking spaces per business or 4 spacea
per 1,000 aq. ft. o£ groas building floor space
£or each structur� , which ever is gregter, is
requried.
9. Performance Standards shall confo�m to Section 8
J. 2.a. 2) as �hown in �he CSC Zoning D�.BCrict.
