AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD AMENDING
ORDINANCE N0. 84-15 PASSED AND APPROVED AS OF
NOVEMBER 19 , 198� , AND KNOWN AS THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY , BY CHANGING THE ZONING
OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED F .M. 2351
CYPRESS PLAZA, . 56722 ACRE ( 24 , 540 , 80 SQ. FEET)
FRIENDSWOOD , TEXAS FROM COMMUNITY SHOPPING
TO SPECIFIC USE - STORAGE .
WHEREAS , the Friendswood City Council and the Friendswood
Planning and Zonin� Commission conducted a joint public hearin�
on June 1 , 1987 to consider the rezoning of the hereinafter
described parcels of land from COMMUNITY SHOPPING CENTER TO
SPECIFIC USE - STORAGE .
WHEREAS , the hearing was duly called as provided by the laws
of the State of Texas and Ordinance No . 8�-15 of the City of
Friendswood , and that in sueh hearing all persons attendin� were
allowed to be heard on the question of whether or not the
rezoning of said property from CSC to SPECIFIC USE - STORAGE
would affect the public health , safety , morale , convenience or
general welfare of the citizens of Friendswood , and whether or
not rezoning would violate the rights of any interested persons;
and
WHEREAS , as a result of the said public hearing and
recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission the City
Couneil finds that sueh rezonin� is not detrimental to the
community , now therefore ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIENDSWOOD , STATE OF TEXAS:
Seetion 1 . City of Friendswood , Texas , Ordinance No . 84-15 ,
passed and approved on November 19 , 198� and known as the Zoning
Ordinance , is hereby amended by chan�ing the zoning
classification of the following described properties from CSC to
SPECIFIC USE - STORAGE known as Cypress Plaza . 56722 Aere
(24 , 540 , 80 square feet)
(EXHIBIT A ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF)

Section 2 . The official zoning map of the City shall be
revised to ahow the above described tracts rezoned from CSC to
SPECIFIC USE - STORAGE
Seetion 3 . This ordinanee shall in no way reduce , amend ,
supplement , or ehange any provision of any ordinance of the City
of Friendswood , other than to accomplish the rezoning of the
tracts described in Section 1 from CSC TO SPECIFIC USE - STORAGE .

All that certain . 56722 Acre (24 , 540 . 80 Square Feet ) tra�t
of land being out of and a part of Lot 1 of the Hoidale and
Coffman Subdivision in the Perry and Austin Upper League , A-20,
Galveston County, Texas , according to the plat of said Hoidale
and Coffman Subdivision recorded in Volume 215 , Page 394 in the
Office of the County Clerk of Galveston County, Texas , said
. 56722 Acre tract being more particularly described by metes and
bounds as follows :
COMMENCING at a point for the South corner of that certain '
Mobil Oil Corporation �tract of land described in Volume 1851 ,
Pages 705-07 , Galveston County Deed Records , said point lying at
the intersection of the Northeast line of F .M. Highway No . 518
with the Northwest line of F .M. Highway No . 2351 ;
THENCE N 45 ° W, along said Northeast line of F.M. Highway
No . 518 , a distance of 222 . 00 feet to a point ;
THENCE N 45 ° E , a distance of 603 . 24 feet to a 5/8 inch
iron rod set for corner and the PLACE OF BEGINNING of the tract
herein described;
THENCE continuing N 45° E, a distance of 306 . 76 feet to a
3/4 inch iron pipe found for corner on the Northeast line of the
aforementioned Lot 1 ;
THENCE S 45 ° E , along said Northeast line of Lot l , a
distance of 80 feet to a S /8 inch iron rod set for corner .
THENCE S 45° W, along said Northwest line of Lot l , a
distance of 306 . 76 feet to a 5/8 inch iron rod set for corner ;
THENCE N 45 ° W, a distance of 80 feet to the PLACE OF
BEGINNING and containing . 56722 acres (24 , 540 . 80 square feet ) of
land, more or less .
