HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 82-22 ORDINANCE NO .�����' AN ORDINANCE AI°IENDING CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD ORDINANCE N0 . 291 , PASSED AND APPROVED Oi� NOVEMBER 7 , 1977 , AND KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY, BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND FROM R-1 to R-3 AND C-3 ; CHANGING THE ZONING MAP ACCORDINGLY; AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER P�IATTERS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT. WHEREAS , the Friendswood City Council and the Friendswood Planning and Zoninb Commission conducted a joint public hearing on September 15 , 1982 , to consider the rezoning of the herein- after described parcel of land from R-1 to R-3 and C-3 ; and WHEREAS , the hearing was duly called as provided by the laws of the State of Texas and Ordinance No. 291 of the City of Friendswood, and that in such hearing all persons attending were allowed to be heard on the question of whether or not the rezoning of said property from R-1 to R-3 and C-3 would affect the public health, safety , morale, convenience or general welfare of the citizens of Friendswood, and whether or not such rezoning would violate the rights of any interested persons ; now, therefore , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIENDS- WOOD, STATE OF TEXAS : Section l. City of Friendswood, Texas , Ordinance No. 291 , passed and approved on Plovember 7 , 1977 , and known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification of the property commonly known as the Shell Employees Recreation Area (SERA Park) , located at the intersection of Winding Way and F.
