AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT COPIES OF ANY PROPOSED
ORDINANCE , IN THE FORM REQUIRED FOR ADOPTION, SHALL
BE POSTED AT THE FRIENDSWOOD LIBRARY , FRIENDSWOOD ,
TEXAS , AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE FIRST READING AND
FOR AS LONG THEREAFTER AS THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE IS
BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIENDSWOOD , STATE OF TEXAS :
Section 1 . Every proposed ordinance , except emergency,
budget , tax , street development and improvement ordinances and
ordinances relative to borrowing for capital improvements , shall
be posted , in the form required for adoption, at the Friendswood
Library, 416 Morningside , Friendswood , Texas , at least one week
before first reading and for as long thereafter as the proposed
ordinance is before the City Council .
