BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS: SECTION 1 . Cedarwood Drive is hereby designated to be a one-way street between the hours officially posted on school days only:. (a) Cedarwood Drive is hereby designated to be a one-way street in a southeasterly direction commencing from its intersection with Spreading Oaks Avenue and extending to its intersection with Stone's Throw, a distance of approximately .2 (two-tenths) mile. SECTION 2. The Chief of Police is hereby directed to erect appropriate signs at the entrances to the above streets designating the times , days, and directions set by this Ordinance. SECTION 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of any section of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than TEN ($10.00) DOLLARS nor more than TWO HUNDRED ($Z00.00) DOLLARS. SECTION 4. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this Ordinance is, for any reason, held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion shall be deemed separate, distinct and an independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion hereof. SECTION 5. The City Council deems it advisable that the rule requiring ordinances to e rb� on three separate and several days be suspended, and accordingly, the rule is hereby suspended and this ordinance shall be in effect upon its passage and approval .
