AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIEPdDSW00D, GALVESTON COUNTY, TEXAS, APPOINTING
TNE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION FOR SAID
TO`�JN FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AND SETTING THE TIME FOR
THE i�1EETING OF SAIG 30ARD.
8E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD,
GALVESTON COUPJTY, TEXAS THAT:
(1) Otto Haardt, Truman Taylor, and A1 0'Farrell, each being
a qualified voter, a resident of the City of Friendswood, Texas, and
a property owner of said city„ be, and they are hereby, appointed as
members of the Qoard of Equalization for said town of Friendswood, Texas,
for the current year, and said Board of Equalization, composed of said
members, is hereby constituted for the current year: and that
(2) the time for the meeting of such Board shall be the 16th
day of Augusty 1971 , at 7:30 o'clock P,M.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage,
approval and adoption and is hereby declared an emergency.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED as an emergency ordinance this the
5th day of August, 1971 .
