BE IT OFiUAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FFiIENDSW00D� TEXAS:
SEC TI ON I :
City Peace Officers shall have the right ta arrest
without warrant and interrogate a11 persons of suspicious
demeanor, character or conduct found on the streets or bridges
or any public or private buildings or premises, where they
have no right or permission to be, and if sucY► persons do not
give a satisfactory account of themselves, and the city peace
officer has good reason to believe that such person or persons
intend to or are about to commit or have committed any violation
of the laws or ordinances of the City, has committed or was
about to commit a violation of any State law, or who has committed
or was about to commit a violation of any Federal law, it is
hereby made the duty of such officer to take such person or
person.s into custody or if necessary f or their safekeeping to
put them in �ail, and at the earliest time practicable bring
them, with all the evidence and proof applicable to their case,
before the corporation court for investigation arid hearin�.
SEC TI ON I I :
The fact that no authority exists to make arrest of
suspicious persons v�rithout �Tarrant constitutes a danger and an
emergency requiring the final passage of its ordinance on its
first read�ng.
