AN ORDINANCE REVISING SCHOOL ZONE PERIMETERS AND DESIGNATING
WILLOWICK AVE. ONE WAY STREET DURING THE SCHOOL ZONE HOURS, 7:30
A. M. to 8:15 A. M. AND FROM 2:30 P. M. TO 4:00 P.M. , MONDAY

ON FIRST AND FINAL READING AS AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD.
SECTION I:
That the existing school zone on FM-518 be shortened
to the following boundaries:
(a) From a point fifty (50) feet northwest of the
intersection of FM- 18 and Magnolia Ave, ex-
tending to a point fifty (50 feet southeast
of the intersection of FM-518 and Spreading
Oaks Ave.
(b ) The speed limit and times of reduced speed
should remain the same as are now in existence.
SECTION II:
That Willowick Ave. from its intersection at FM-518
extending southeasterly to its intersection with Laurel Drive bel
a one way street during the hours of 7:30 A. M. to 8:15 A. M. and
from 2:30 P. M. to 4:00 P. M. ; said street shall be closed to alll
automobile traffic during said hours, with exception of emergency
vehicles.
SECTION III:
Any person, firm, corporation or association who shall
violate any provision of this ordinance shall be guilty of a mil-
demeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in an amount
not less than ten ($10.00) dollars nor more than two hundred
($200.00) dollars.
SECTION IV:
All Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are her's-
by repealed.
SECTION V•
That th e exists an emergency and this Ordinance be
passed on as an Emergen Ordinance.
