A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, ADOPTING A SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR
SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL SERVICES

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That certain "Schedule of Fees for Solid Waste Collection and
Disposal Services," a true and correct copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and for
all things is made a part of this Resolution, is hereby in all things adopted. The fees set forth
in said Exhibit "A" shall be applicable to all solid waste collection and disposal services from
and after the lst day of December , 2002.
Section 2. All resolutions or parts of resolutions inconsistent or in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict, hereby repealed.
Section 3. The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to cause the
schedule of fees set forth in E�ibit "A" hereto to be substituted for those fees set forth in that
certain paragraph entitled "Solid Waste" within the "Schedule of Fees" contained in Appendix
D to the Friendswood City Code

Solid Waste Amount
1. Residential services to include collection of residential refuse,
recyclables, and green waste:
No limit volume per week per residence, including residential
refuse, residential curbside recycling and green waste recycling. 8.62/month
2. Light commercial collection:
For once a week pickup with curbside service(ma�cimum of
seven 32-gallon containers) 20.25/month
For twice a week pickup with curbside service (maximum of
Seven 32-gallon containers) 27.50/month

4. Disaster relief services—Special collection and disposal:
In the event of damage or destruction resulting from flood,tornado,hurricane, or similar
disaster situations, Contractor agrees to provide adequate personnel and equipment to
assist the city in clean-up recovery. Available services include,but are not limited to the
following:
a. Roll-off containers;
All available sizes(20, 30, and 40-cubic yard)at contract price. Any discounts due
to disposal consideration will be passed on to the city.
b. Rear Load Equipment
Truck and 1 operator 65.00/hour
Truck and 2 person crew 85.00/hour
Truck and 3 person crew 105.00/hour
c. Roll Off equipment
40 cubic yard 100.00/pull
or, 100.00/hour
d. Brush Truck and 1 operator 75.00/hour
e. Loader and Operator 75.00/hour

ATTACHMENT TO
CONTRACT FOR REFUSE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL SERVICES
NOTES TO EXHIBIT "A"RATE SCHEDULE
NOTE 1. Pursuant to Section 13,04 of the Contract, Contractor is responsible for all
billings and collections for service to Commercial Units and Light Commercial Units.
The rates shown on this Exhibit "A" are the maximum rates which may be charged by
Contractor (unless modified pursuant to Section 13.02 of the Contract). Further, pursuant
to Section 13.05 of the Contract, Contractor is to pay to City an 8% Street Use/City
Administration Fee on all gross revenues from Commercial Units and Light Commercial
Units. Contractor shall not be authorized to increase the maximum rates set forth in this
Exhibit "A" for the purpose of satisfying its obligations for Street Use/City
Administration Fees. Provided however, if City elects to increase such fee, Contractor
shall be authorized to increase the maximum rates set forth in this Exhibit "A"
proportionately with any such increase.
NOTE 2. Pursuant to Sections 13.01 and 13.04.01 of the Contract, City will pay
Contractor in accordance with the schedule of rates shown on Exhibit"A" for Residential
Units and recycling services.
