Located in Friendswood, Texas and being more particularly described as follows: ABST 20 PAGE 3 LOT 6 BLK 1 ANNALEA KINGSPARK SEC A & WHITEHALL SEC A The lien is claimed for cost incurred by the City in connection with abatement of a public nuisance thereon, to wit: Sec. 26-106. Public nuisance declared. (a) Whenever grass, weeds, brush, rubbish and all other objectionable, unsightly and unsanitary matter of whatever nature shall exist, covering or partly covering the surface of any lot or parcel of land situated within the city, or when any such lot or parcel of land, as aforesaid, shall have the surface thereof filled or partly filled with holes or be in such condition that such lot or parcel of land holds or is liable to hold stagnant water therein, or, if from any other cause, such lot or parcel of land shall be in such condition as to be liable to cause disease or produce,harbor or spread disease germs of any nature or tend to render the surrounding atmosphere unhealthy, unwholesome or obnoxious, such lot or parcel of land shall constitute and is hereby declared to constitute a public nuisance. The prompt abatement of such nuisance is hereby declared to be a public necessity. Such lot or parcel of land, in addition to the grounds within its respective boundaries, shall be held to include,but shall not be limited to: 1) all lots or parcels of land lying and being adjacent to and extending beyond the property line of any such lot or parcel of land to the curbline of adjacent streets where a curbline has been established or to the edge of pavement where no curbline has been established on adjacent streets; 2)to the center of adjacent unimproved rights-of- way and alleys: and 3)the area between a fence, wall or barrier and within any abutting drainage channel easement to the top of such channel closest to the property.
