HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 2001-02 ORDINANCE NO. 2001-02 AN ORDINANCE KNOWN AS "AMENDMENT I", ANIENDING CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, ORDINANCE NO. 2000-34, PASSED �1t�TD APPROVED SEPTEMBER 18, 2000 AND BEING AN ORDINANC}3 APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE CITY'S GENSR.AL BIIDGST FOR FISCAL YFsAR 2000/2001; PROVIDING AM�NDMENTS TO SUCH BUDGET: AND PROVIDING OTHSR MATTSRS RSLATSD TO TH13 SUBJECT. * * ,r * ,r �r * x * * * WH$REAS, BY ORDINANCE NO. 2000-34, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, ADOPTED ITS GENERAL B"JDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000-2001; WH$REAS, THE CITY COUNCIL HAS DETERMINED THAT TRANSFER OF CERTAIN FUNDS INTERDEPARTMENTALLY IS ECONOMICALLY FEASIBLE AND IN THE BEST INTEREST OF PRUDENT BUDGETING; AND WHBREAS, THE CITY COUNCIL DESIRES TO AMEND SAID GENERAL BUDGET TO REFLECT SUCH TRANSFER IN THE FISCAL YEAR 2000-2001; NOW, THEREFORE, BF IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, STATE OF T13XAS: SECTION 1. THE FACTS AND MATTERS SET FORTH IN THE PREAMBLE OF THIS ORDINANCE ARE HEREBY FOUND TO BE TRUE AND CORRECT. SECTION 2. THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, GENERAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000-2001, IS HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS ON ATTACHMENT "A", SAME BEING ENTITLED "AMENDMENT I" TO THE CITY 7F FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, GENERAL BUDGET, FISCAL YEAR 2000-2001.
