The committee welcomed Cari Infante, a marketing specialist, to the committee.
Asimakis shared that once January comes Small Business Week planning will be top priority.
Due to Asimakis being out of town members decided to change the dates of SBW to April 27th
– May 1st, 2026. The committee also decided to create a Focus Group made up of business
owners to gain insight and ideas for the week’s activities. Each committee member will email
Asimakis three names they would like to invite to the Focus Group. The date and location of
the meeting is to be determined.
The Committee also agreed to continue with last year’s partners: as well as SBW partners;
Work Force Solutions, Friendswood Downtown Friendswood Association (FDFA), the
Friendswood Chamber of Commerce, Friendswood Rotary, and add Lexi with Friendswood
ISD along with a representative of Clear Creek ISD. The committee would also like to get more
