MINUTES
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 4:06 pm with the following members present:

2. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Branson stated the new CEDC member, Cari Infante was approved by City Council.
3. MINUTES
A. Consider approving the minutes of the Community and Economic Development
Committee Regular Meeting, held on September 3rd, 2025.

Vote: 6/0 - Minutes Approved
4. DISCUSSION ITEMS
A. Discuss the Community and Economic Development Committee economic
development and business retention strategy.
Lexi Kopp, the Executive Director of Career and Technical Education and Community
Partnerships for Friendswood ISD, provided an update on the first advisory meeting held on
October 24. Sixty-eight participants attended, and the group successfully identified the gaps
between student skills and business needs. The meeting will take place twice a year, with the
next one scheduled for April 24, 2026. The goal is to refine the focus to better address the
needs of students.
Harbin, Rhea, and Branson summarized the TML and APATX conference they attended.
5. REPORTS
Harbin gave the Monthly Business Report for October 2025.

Harbin also noted the City Council approved the incentive for All Off Road and Source
Solutions declined the offer. Council approved of the Comprehensive Plan Advisory
Committee; the first meeting is scheudled for December 16th.
