A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD,
TEXAS, GALVESTON/HARRIS COUNTIES, ENDORSING
THE REAPPOINTMENT OF (5) FIVE MEMBERS AND (1)
ONE APPOINTMENT OF A NEW MEMBER TO A
THIRTEEN MEMBER BOARD TO THE GALVESTON
COUNTY UNITED BOARD OF HEALTH.

WHEREAS, members of the Galveston County United Board of Health are nominated
by the Galveston County Commissioners' Court and confirmed by the Member Governments of
the Health District; and
WHEREAS, the reappointment of(5) five members and (1) one new member is under
consideration; and
WHEREAS, the Galveston County Commissioners' Court has made its nominations,
NOW, BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that this body endorses the following
reappointments to the Galveston County United Board of Health with a term of office to expire
Apri130, 2012 for the following members:
John Konikowski, MD—Medical Society-reappointment
Steven Leach, CRNA—Municipality-reappointment
Bernard Milstein, MD—Citizen at Large-reappointment
Walter Treybig, III—Engineer-reappointment
Bob Baylor, DVM—Veterinarian-reappointment
Rob Heifner—Mainland Medical Center-new appointment
