MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE FRI�NDSWOOD CITY COUNCIL THAT WAS HELD ON
THURSDAY, JANUARY 16, 2003, FROM 6:00 TO 8:00 PM AT FRIENDSWOOD CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, 910 S. FRIENDSWOOD DRIVE, FRIEND�SWOOD, TEXAS, WITH THE FOLLOWING
PRESENT NOT CONSTITUTING A QUORUM: �

An Informational Forum was held regarding the February 1, 2003, Capital Improvements Bond Election.
Continuous informational presentations were conducted,with opportunities for question and answer sessions `
regarding the four propositions for the capital improvemenfs bond election.
PROPOSITION NO. 1
THE ISSUANCE OF$7,380,000 BONDS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITIES, INCLUDING A NEW PUBLIC
SAFETY BUILDING, A NEW FIRE STATION AND/OR RENOVATIONS OF EXISTING FIRE STATIONS,
AND THE ACQUISITION.OF LAND.
PROPOSITION NO. 2
THE ISSUANCE OF $5,575,000 BONDS FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS TO VARIOUS SITES,
INCLUDING SUNMEAI�OW,ANNALEA-WHITEHALL, CLOVER ACRES,WOODL.AWN, MISSION ESTATES
AND GLENSHANNON SUBDIVISIONS.
PROPOSfTION NO. 3
_ THE ISSUANCE OF $4,055,000 BONDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS AND
THOROUGHFARES, INCLUDING FRIENDSWOOD LINI< ROAD, BRITTANY BAY BOULEVARD
EXTENSION, VARIOUS LOCAL STREETS AND THE ACQUISITION OF ANY NECESSARY RIGHTS-OF-
WAY:
PROPOSITION NO. 4
THE ISSUANCE OF $3,075;000 BONDS FOR 1MPROVEMENTS TO CENTENNIAL PARK.
An Open House was held at the Friendswood Police Department/Public Safety building at 109 E. Willowick
and Friendswood Fire Station #1 at 1000,S: Friendsvrood brive during this informational forum for voters to
visit and view existing facilities.
