AT FRIENDSWOOD CITY HALL, 910 S. FRIENDSWOOD DRIVE, FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, WITH THE FOLLOWING PRESENT CONSTITUTING A QUORUM: MAYOR HAROLD L. WHITAKER MAYOR PRO TEM LARRY TAYLOR COUNCILMEMBER JERRY ERICSSON COUNCILMEMBER TRACY GOZA COUNCILMEMBER KIM BRIZENDINE COUNCILMEMBER MEL MEASELES CITY ATTORNEY KIM MICKELSON CITY MANAGER RON COX CITY SECRETARY DELORIS MCKENZIE Councilmember Kitten Brizendine was absent from the meeting. Mayor Whitaker called the meeting to order. COUNCIL CONVENED INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE, PURSUANT TO 551.071, CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY REGARDING APPEALING A DECISION OF THE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS ON A VARIANCE GRANTED TO CLEMMONS MANAGEMENT CO., L.L.C. Council re-convened into Regular Session with action taken later in the meeting. **Councilmember Taylor moved to approve action regarding appealing a decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals granting a variance to Clemmons Management Co., L.L.0 and to authorize the filing of an appeal of the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals action approving a variance in the setbacks for Clemmons Management Co., L.L.C., on property located at 5201 FM 2351, seeking injunctive relief and seeking all other appropriate relief. Seconded by Councilmember Kim Brizendine. The motion was approved 6-0. **Councilmember Ericsson moved to approve action regarding purchasing of property for the Second Take Water Distribution and to authorize city staff to complete negotiations and for the Mayor to sign al relevant documents on the purchase of propertyfrom Tom Kent, a 2-acre tract, located off of F.M. 2351. Seconded by Councilmember Kim Blrizendine. The motion was approved 6-0. A motion was made and approved to adjourn at 7:20 PM. Mayor Harold L.
