COUNCILMEN'S ASSOCIATION MEETING, REPORTED ON THB CITY OF HOUSTON AND THE
SPEED IiUMPS THAT WBRL CONSTRIICTED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, ATTENDFsD
THE CLEAR LAKE TRANSPORTATION PARTNBRSHIP MELTING AIdD RBPORTED THAT METRO

APPEARED BSFORE COUNCIL REGARDING CENTENNIAL PARK AND SOCCSR FIELDS, AND
STATED TIiAT THE THE CLUBS SUPPORT THE RECOL�II�SENDATION TO HAVE CARTER &
BURGESS, INC, DO THE LAYOUT AND DESIGN FOR THIS PARK AND URGED COUNCIL TO
PROCEED.

AEROBICS 1�ND STATED THIS PROGRAM HAS BBNEFITED CITIZENS 16 TO 89 YEARS OLD

CITY MANAGLR COX RSPORTED ON THE YEAR 2000 COMPLIANCE (Y2K) AND BOB MATLOCK,
MIS COORDINATOR, HAS DSVELOPED A MSTHODICAL PROCESS FOR ANALYZING WORK
RSSPONSIBILITIES, DOCUMENTING THE SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE, AND DEVELOPING A
PLAN FQR COMPLIANCE WITH Y2K INTERNALLY. MR. COX ALSO REPORTBD THAT THE
