COI�lTTNITY SERVICES JON SRANSON MADE A PRESENTATION REGARDING THE PARKS AND
RECREATION BOARD'5 GOAL5 AND REPORTED THAT THERE WERE FOUR KEY ELEMENTS TO
CONSIDER: THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN, CENTENNIAL PARK, TI3E SPORTS PARK,
EQUIPMENT NEEDS. MR. BRANSON GAVE AN UPDATE ON TFIE CENTENNIAL PARK PURCHASE
BY FRIENDSWOOD I2IDEPENDEDiT SCHQOL DISTRICT (FISD) , THE LAtID SWAP TRANSACTIOI3
FOR THE BACK PORTION OF THE PARK TO F'ISD, REPORTED ON SOCCER, WORK ON THE
FIELDS, THE JOINT-USE AGREEMENT, SHARED COST, LAYOUT AND GRADING PLAN, THE
SURVEY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CONSIILTlITdT TO PROCEED WITH THE PLANS AND
SPECIFICATION5.
DISCUSSION WAS HELD REGARDING THE PROPOSED PARK DEDICATION ORDINANCE.
STUART WILLIAM, CHAIR OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD, APPEARED BEFORE

DEVELOPMENT ON FM 528 AND FM 518, THE COMPREFiENSIVE PLAN, THE LAND USE PLAN,
THE PARK PLAN, THE SPORTS PARK, CENTENNIAL PARK, AND CHANGES TO THE PARK
PLAN.
