MR. JOHN HAMMOND, REPRESENTING FRIENDSWOOD DEVELOPMENT, TO CREATE A
MUNICIPAL UTILITY pISTRICT FOR DRAINA�E PURPOSES IN A 371 ACRE TRACT IN
HARRIS COUNTY. COMNIENTS WERE HEARD FROM COUNCIL REGARDING EXTSTING ZONING,
REGIONAL DETENTION ARF.A, THE ADVAI�T`�AGE, TURNING THE DRAINAGE AREA INTO A
GREEN BELT, LIABILITY TO THE CIZ`Y, DETENTION PONDS, TAX �3ASE, FUNDING
OPTIONS, THE STEPS TO BE TAKEN, THE DISADVANTAGES, CHANG�;B I�I ZONING, AND
THE PROBLEM WITH THE PROPOSAL. THE CONSENSUS OF COUNCIL WAS NOT TO CONSIDER
THIS PROPOSAL.
