COX ALSO REPORTED ON TCI CABLE AND STATED THAT TCI CABLE HAS FILED AN APPEAL TO THE RATE QRDER ADOPTED BY CITY ORDINANCE 97-10 ON MAY 19 AND AS YET Hl1VE NOT REC�IVED. A REPORT FROM THE ALVIN/FRIENDSWO01� CONSULTANT ON THE REBUILD PLAN SUBMITTED BY TCI. MR. COX STATED THAT TEXAS-NEW MEXICO POWER (TN�)COMPANY DID NOT MEET THE FILING DEADLINE IMPOSED BY THE CITIES FOR THE SECTION 42 FILING BUT DID SUBMIT SOME INFORMATTON AS THEY PROPOSED AND THAT B033 RIMA, ATTORNEY FOR THE GULF COAST COALITION OF CITIES WILL BE REVIEWING TH� FILED INFORMATION TO DETERMINE IF SUFFICZENT INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE TO MAKE A DECISION AND RECOMMENDATION TO THE COALITION MEI+'lBERS. MR. COX REPORTED THAT THE CITY RECEIVED A GRANT FROM HOUSTON 100 CLUB IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,OQ0 FOR A MOBILE COMMAND POST AND A SUPPLEMENTAL PRIVATE DONATION OF $3,000, AND THAT A 1994 BOUNDER MOTOI7HOME WAS PURCHASED. COUNEILMEMBER ERICSSON ASKED ABOUT TNP'S EX�ENSION DATE WITH CITY MANA6ER COX STATING �'HE EXTENSION TIME HAS PASSED; TNP, WHO AGREED ON THE DATE ,�._� ORIGTNALLY, ACTUALLY MISSED THE DEADLINE AND THAT THE P.U.C. COULD ASSESS PENALTIES AND THT�T TNP COtJLD APPEAL THE D�:CISZON BY THE P.U.C. GOUNCILMEMBER DICKEY STATED THAT SHE IS GLAD TO FIND OUT THE NEXT ACTION ON THE T.N.P. CASE AND ASKED WHY THE CON�ULTANT WOULD RECOMME?ND A HIGHER RATE WITH CITY MANAGER COX SAYING HE BELIE:VES IT WOULD BE LOWER RATE RECOMMENDATION F'ROM THE COALITION RETROACTIVE �0 MAY 15. COUNCILMEMBER DICKEY ASKED ABOUT THE FM 2351 INTERSECTIOIJ AND CITY MANAGER COX STATED HE DID NOT HAVE A REPORT. COUNCILMEMBER DICKEY ASKED MR. COX TO GET A REPORT FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SO THAT COUNCIL COULD TAKE ACTION. COUNCILMEMBER DICKEY ALSO ASKED IF THE CITY MAINTAINS ALL CITY FACILITIES WITH MR. COX RESPONDING YES. COUNCII,MEMBER DICKEY STATED THE RESTROOMS AT STEVENSON PARK WERE NOT IN GOOD CONDITION ON JULY 4, AND WERE �, DEPLORABLE. IN THE EARLY MORNING. MR.
