MAYOR NEWMAN LED THE PLEDGE OF ALLEG�ANCE TO THE UNITED STATES AND TO THE
STATE OF TEXAS.

� 1,000 VOLUNTEERS.
MANDY ALBRITTON PRESENTED AN UPDATE REGARDING LAURA SMITHEI2S AND STATED
THAT THE STORY HAS MADE THE NA�IONAL NEWS, THEY HAVE HAD THaU5ANDS OF
VOLUNTEERS AT Z'HE RECOVERY CENTER, AND THAT THERE HAVE BEEN TWO FUNDS
ESTABLISHED: ONE FOR INFORMATION REGARDING THE ABDUCTION; AND ONE FUND TO
HELP THE CENTER' � EFFORTS.

DETENTION PONDS AND ASKED WHO WILL BE DTRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SOLUTION

AND STATED THAT HE IS CONFUSED AND THAT THE INFORMATION FROM EXXON IS NOT
TRUTHFUL, THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND WILL HAVE AN A�ROCIOUS EFFECT ON
