COUNCILMEMBER LOWE ASKED HOW TO REVAMP THE ZONING PUBLIC HEARINGS IN ORDER
TO ADDRESS QUESTIONS, AND SUGGESTED PERHAPS HAVE A QUESTION AND ANSWER

COUNCIL MEETING, THE CLEAR LAKE AREA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MEETING AND ON
DECEMBER 19, THE HARRIS COUNTY MAYORS AND COUNCILS' MEETING.
COUNCILMEMBER ER:CCSSON REPORTED ON ATTENDING THE H.C.M & C MEETING, AND THAT
HE MET WITH JOE GON2AI,ES, THE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, AND SUGGESTED THAT THE
PUBLIC HEARINGS MATTERS COULD FOSSIBLY REDUCED TO WRITING AND HAVE STAFF
I RESPOND.
GOUNCILMEMBER HAJECATE REPORTED ON ATTENDING THE SAME MEETINGS, ALONG WITH

AND THE REDUCTION OF THE COST FOR THE CITY FOR PARTICIPATING IN THIS
I1LTE:f2NATIVE EXPANSION. MR. COX REPORTED THAT THE PHASE II LIBRAR�
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT IS ESSENTIALLY COMPLETF; AND HAS ISSUED THE CERTIFICATE

THE TERMS OF THE THOSE REAPPOINTED WILL BE FROM NOVEMBER 1996 TO NOVEMBER
