FIRE CHIEF, �AN KEY, PRESENTED A LETTER OF REPORT SIGNED BY GREGORY F. MAPP
R.N. , EMT-P, SENIOR CAPTAIN, FRIENDSWOOD EMS AND DATED SEPTEMBER 5, 1996
REGARDING AMBULANCE 46 AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SUDGET.
DISCUSSTON WAS HFLD REGARDING ADDING A SEWER RATE OPTION 9 WITH BASE RATES
TO STAY THE SAME AND COUNCILMEMBER LOWE'S SUGGESTION REGARDING ADDING TO
THE USAGE FEE A NUMBER TO EQUATE TO APPROXIMATELY $171,000 TO PRODUCE THE
SHORTFALL OF THIS AMOUNT WHICH WOULD THEN MEET SEWER RATES NECESSARY TO FUND
FOR BLACKHAWK, FOR PUBLIC WORKS SEWER DEPARTMENT, AND FQR DEBT SERVICE.
COUNCIL DISCUSSED THE OPTIONS AND THE CONSENSUS WAS TO SELEC� OPTION 3 WFiICH
WOULD RAISE TH� RATE FOR RESIDENTIAL TO $11.00 MINIMUM FOR 3,000 GALLONS OF
SEWERAGE PLUS $2.20 FOR EACH THOU5AND ABOVE THE MTNIMUM AND COMMERCIAL
$10.50 FOR 3,000 GALLONS OF SEWERAGE PLUS $2.20 FOR EACH THOUSAND ABOVE THE •�--�
MINIMUM.
EMS CHIEF LISA CAMP PRESENTED A REPORT ON REPAIRS TO THE EQUIPMENT.
DISCUSSION WAS HELD BY COUNCIL REGARDING THE REPORT.
POLICE CHIEF JARED STOUT DI�CUSSED VEHICLE REPLACEMENT CURRENT POLICY AND
PHILOSOPHY.
DISCUSSION WAS HELD BY COUNCIL REGARDING THIS PHILOSOPHY.
A MOTION WAS MADE AND PASSED TO ADJOURN AT 8:12 P.M.
