CITY MANAGER RON COX READ TNTO THE MINUTES THE TEXAS/NEW MEXICO POWER COMPANY'S APPLICATION AND STATEMENT OF INTENT WITH SUPPORTING, TESTIMONY AND THE GULF COAST COALITION OF CITIES' BRIEF ON THRESHOLD ISSUES DATED JUNE 12, 1996, AND FILED WITH THE PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION IN DOCKET N0. 15560. **COUNCILMEMBER DICKEY MOVED TO APPROVE RESOLUTION R96-23, A RESOLUTION OF � THE CITY OF FRTENDSWOOD, TEXAS, DENYING TEXAS—NEW MEXICO POWER COMPANY'S APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF ITS COMMi1NI2'Y CHOICE TRANSITION PLAN AND STATEMENT OF INTFNT. SECONDED BY COUNC;ILMEMBER LOWE. THE MOTION WAS AFPFOVED UNANIMOUSLY. **COUNCILMEMSER HAJECATE MOVED TO APPROVE THE LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD AND FRIEND�iW00D INDEPENDENT SCHOOL BISTRICT FOR USE OF THE CITY OF FRIEFfDSW00D MUNICIPAL POOL BY THE; FISD SWINi TEAM.
