DISCUSSION WAS HELD REGARDING THE 1996/97 SUDGET FOR THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, ENCUMBERED FUNDS INCLUDING , RECORDS STORAGE, LIBRARY DONATIONS, ARCHI'PECT FEES, J.T. DUNKIN AND CENTENNIAL PARK, GARDEN DRIVE AT SHADOWBEND, THE OUTFALL DITCH ON SPREADING OAKS AND CLEAR CRE�K DRAINAGE DISTRICT DOING 7.'HIS PFtOJECT, SIDEWALKS, EAGLE LAKES DRAINAGE, 1996 ASPHALT AND CONCRETE STREET PROGRAM, ROOF RENOVATIONS, FIRE STATION #1, LIBRARY PHASE II RENOVATTONS AND FURNITURE AND OFFICE FIXTURES, FUEL STORAGE EQUIPMENT AT FIRE STATTON #1 (2-500 GALLON ABOVE GROUND TANKS) DETERMINED FIRE TRUCKS HAVE GENERATORS AND COULD GO TO THE SERVICE STATION FOR FUELING, REALLOCATE $18,000 WILDERNESS TRAILS WATER LINE CONSTRUCTION, ACCUMIILATIVE BUDGET CUT BY' SOME PERCENTAGE TO BE DETEkI�lIIVED BY DOWNSIZING EXPENDITURES ; AND "BEST WAY TO RUN THE CITY WITH LESS EXPENSE." � **MOTION WAS MADE AND PASSED TO ADJOURN AT 9:48 P.M. ,� � ,�_�,r�� MAYOR ' ELYN B.
