MANAG�MENT AND THE PROPOSED CONTRACT WHTCH IS A NON—EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE.
MR., C0� REPQRTED THAT STAFF, THE CITY ATTORNEY AND WASTE MANAGEMENT HAVE
BEEN WORKING O]V THIS PROPOSAL. MR. COX STATED THAT ESSENTIALLY THE
FRANCHISE AGREE�'lENT WOULD BE THAT WA:3TE MAN�GEMENT WOULD COLLECT FOR
RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, ANA RECYCLING, WOULD PAY THE CITY A FRANCHISE FEE
WITH TT-IE AMOUNT TO BE DETERMINED AND RETAIN THE RECYCLING FUNDS. MR. COX
STATED THE CITY COULD CONSIDER THE FRANGHISE PROPOSAL, CONTINUE IN A
