OF CITY HALL. THE PURPOSE OF THIS PUBLIC HEARING IS TO RECEIVE COMMENTS

DRAINAGE PURPOSES WITH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DiRECTOR ADVISING THE SLIGHT
SLOPE IS TO MEET ADA REQUIREMENTS, �
CITY MANAGER STATED THE 4" BASE IS BECAUSE THERE WILL BE SOME VEHICULAR
TRAFFIC SUCH AS 'PHE GARBAGE AND THE MAIL TRUCKS.
COUNCILMEMBER HAJECA�E ASKED ABOUT SIGNAGE WITH CITY MANAGER ADVISING THERE
WOULD BE SIGNAGE AND BIKE LANES WILL ALSO BE PAINTED ON THE ASPHALT
DESIGNATING THE BIKE PATH.
COUNCILMEMBER LOWE REQUESTED THE CITY ATTORNEY TO LOOK INTO THE LEGAL USE OF
!°"T1 SPEED HUMPS IN SUBDIVISIONS AND ASKED TF-TAT SPEED HUMPS BE LOOKED AT DURING
THE BUDGET PROCESS.
CQUNCILMEMBER LOWE EXPRESSED CONCERN WITH CHILDREN CROSSING 7 LANES TO GET
TO BROOKSIDE INTERMEDIATE AND REQEJESTED CITY MANAGER EXPEDITE PLACTNG A
POLICE OFFICER IN THE SCHOOL ZONE IN THE A.M.
CITY MANAGER ADVISED HE WOULD CHECK WITH THE POLICE CHIEF ON PLACING A
POLICE OFFICER �tN THE SCHOOL ZONE AND POSSIBLX PAY WITH THE HARRIS COUNTY
SECURITY FUNDS.
COUNCILMEMBER LOWE ASKED IF THE SIGNAGE IS A TXDOT RESPONSIBILITY WITH CITY
MANAG�R ADVIS2NG YES, IT IS AND THAT POSSIBLY THE SPEED LIMIT IN THE SCHOOL
ZONE COULD BE DECREASED AND WILL ASK TXDOT TO REVIEW.
