MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE FRIENDSWOOD CITY COUNCIL THAT WAS HELD
ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 3, 1994 AT 6:30 P.M. AT FRIENDSWOOD CITY HALL,
COUNCILCHAMBERS, 109 WILLOWICK, FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, WITH THE
FOLLOWYNG PRESENT CONSTITUTING A QUORUM:

EXEGUTIVE SESSION - 6:37 P.M.
COUNCIL CONVENED INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEXAS
GOVERNMENT CODE, PURSUANT TO SECTION 55.071, CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY.
COUNCIL RE-CONVENED IN OPEN SESSION AT 7:04 P.M. WITH NO ACTION TAKEN.
INVOCATION WAS GIVEN BY' PASTOR JOE ROHER, FF2IENDSWOOD FRIENDS CHURCH
COUNCILMEMBER ALINE DICKEY LED THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE.

ANNOUNCED THE ANNUAL F.V.F.D. OPEN HOUSE WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 8 AND
INVITED EVERYONE TO ATTEND.

BEFORE COUNCIL TO ANNOUNCE TE�AT HERITAGE QAY WILL BE HELD OCTOBER 16 AT THE
FRANK J. BROWPI MUSEUM WITH HISTORICAL TOURS, BARBECUE, ENTERTAINMENT AND THE
UI�IVEILING APID BOOK SIGNING OF JOYCINA BAKER'S CENTENNIAL BOOK.

APPROVED THE 9TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1978, AND BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
RULES AND REGIILATIONS GOVERNING VEHICULAR AND PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC IN THE
CITY, BY STRIKING THEREFROM ALL OF SECTION 8 AND SUBSTITUTING THEREFORE A
NEW SECTION 8; PROVIDING COhIDITIONS FQR THE USE OF CERTATI3 CITY STREETS FQR
IN-LINE, ROLLER BLADE 5KATING; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR FAILURE TO ABIDE BY
SUCH TERMS AND CONDITIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND CONTAINING OTHER
PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT.

COUNCIL NOTED THAT THE HOUSTON ENDOWMENT FOUNDATION HAS SENT A CHECK IN
EXCESS OF $184,000 IN MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE LIBRARY FACILITY.
MOTION WAS MADE AND APPROVED FOR ADJOURNMENT AT 8:50 P.M.
