MEDICAL SERVICE FROM RESIDENTS OF VILLAGE ON THE PARK IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1 , 378 . EMS CHIEF GREGG KUNKEL ACCEPTED THE DONATION

ANNOUNCED THAT MRS. GLINES IS THE OLDEST KNOWN LIVING RESIDENT
BORN IN FRIENDSWOOD AND PRESENTED MS . GLINES WITH A BOUQUET OF
FLOWERS AND A "CENTENNIAL" PIN .

DEBT OBLIGATIONS PROCEEDS FOR COSTS OF THE BLACKHAWK WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT INCURRED PRIOR TO THE
ISSUANCE OF THE OBLIGATIONS .

CONDUCT TWO STUDIES ON BEHALF OF THE PARTICIPANT OWNERS IN THE
PLANT TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING :
1 ) A PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT FOR A COMPREHENSIVE
SOLIDS HANDLING PLAN AND
2) A PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPQRT FOR THE EXPANSION OF
THE PLANT .
SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER DICKEY . MOTION APPROVED 6-0 .
**COUNCILMEMBER MEASELES MOVED TO AUTHORIZE AN AMENDMENT TO THE
CURRENT AGREEMENT WITH WAYNE SMITH & ASSOCIATES TO INCREASE THE
SCOPE OF WORK REGARDING RECOMMENDATIONS ON PROPOSED MODIFICATIONS
TO THE BLACKHAWK TREATMENT PLANT , WITH A CAP OF $3 , 500 .
SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER LOWE. MOTION APPROVED 6-0 .
COUNCILMEMBER HAJECATE RETURNED TO THE MEETING AT THIS TIME .
**COUNCILMEMBER LOWE MOVED TO AUTHORIZE WAYNE SMITH &
ASSOCIATES TO CONDUCT A PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT �N SEWER
COLLECTION AND LIFT STATION MODIFICATIONS FOR MORE EFFICIENT
UTILIZATION OF THE SOUTH FRIENDSWOOD INTERCEPTOR AND TO STUDY
OTHER SEWER ISSUES IN THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE CITY.
