OFFICIALS VERY PROUDLY LISTED LA MARQUE ' S ACCOMPLISHMENTS .
MAYOR NEWMAN STATED WITH THE COMING OF THE END OF THE YEAR , THE
CITY HAS ACCOMPLISHED A GREAT DEAL , WITH DONATIONS FOR THE
LIBRARY RENOVATIONS STILL COMING IN , THE NEW CITY HALL PLANS
SHOULD BE READY BY THE FIRST OF THE YEAR , WORKING ON EXPANSION TO
THE BLACKHAWK WASTEWATER PLANT , WORKING DILIGENTLY ON THE RIGHT
OF WAY ACQUISITION FOR FM 528 AND WILL BE MEETING WITH OTHER
ENTITIES TO FINALIZE NEGOTIATIONS WITH LEAGUE CITY TO JOINTLY
PURCHASE ONE PARCEL OF LAND . MAYOR NEWMAN THANKED COUNCIL AND
STAFF FOR THEIR EFFORTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY .
CITY MANAGER REPORTED ON CLEAR CREEK WATER TESTING, LEFT TURN
SIGNAL ON WEST FM 2351 AT SUNSET DRIVE AND REPORTED ON BRIO
MEETINGS .
COUNCIL ASKED CITY MANAGER IF THERE WOULD BE ANY MORE COST
ANALYSIS FOR TESTING OF CLEAR CREEK WITH CITY MANAGER ADVISING
THEAE WOULD BE NOT BE ANY MORE COSTS . COUNCIL ASKED ABOUT A
DIVERSIONARY CHANNEL FOR MUD GULLY WITH CITY MANAGER ADVISING
HARRIS COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL WILL BE REQUESTED TO CONSIDER THIS
PROPOSAL .
MAYOR NEWMAN REPORTED AEPRESENTATIVES FROM SENATOR GRAMM ' S OFFICE
WILL MEET WITH COUNCILMEMBER HAJECATE AND HERSELF TO TOUR THE
BRIO SITE .
COUNCILMEMBER HAJECATE REQUESTED CITY MANAGER TO LOOK INTO
LIGHTING AT THE CURVE ON FM 528 , STATING THIS AREA IS VERY DARK
AND COULD BE DANGEROUS .

AT FM 528 AND WINDING WAY REMOVED , CITY MANAGER WILL CONTACT
