Whitaker Drive LE 00107 Dear Mr. Jones: Pursuant to your request, we are hereby providing the following information: Cost of Water Line Expansion $56,500.00 Land Cost-660 LF X 60FT x $0.60/SF $23,760.00 Total Cost $77,260.00 These are the amounts the District has paid to date. The large increase in cost of the water line was due to the fact of the underground conditions existing under,FM 528. This caused the bore of the water line to be lowered to approximately a depth of sixteen(16') feet. We would recommend that the City and the Board of Directors hold direct discussions regarding the exact cost sharing for the roadway and related facilities.
