T'� � MAYOR SCHRADER ANNOUNCED THAT LAST WEDNESDAY THE FISD 8TH GRADE � CAREER CLASSES ATTENDED CAREERS DAY HERE AT CITY HALL WITH � MEMBERS OF STAFF MAKING BRIEF PRESENTATIONS REGARDING CAREERS IN MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT AND STATED HE WAS PROUD OF STAFF AND PROUD � TO BE A PART OF THIS PROGRAM WHTCH WILL BE HELD AGAIN THIS Q WEDNESDAY . MAYOR SCHRADER REPORTED HE ATTENAED A REVIEW OF THE "WILLIAM TELL" MANEUVERS AT TYNDELL AIR FORCE BASE IN PANAMA , FLORIDA LAST WEEK WHICH WAS EXCITING AND EDUCATIONAL AND THAT HE WAS ALSO ABLE TO VISIT WITH OTHER LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS . MAYOR SCHRADER STATED THAT THE COALITION OF CITIES WILL BE MEETING THIS THURSDAY REGARDING THE H . L . & P . RATE INCREASE IF ANYONE WISHES TO ATTEND . MAYOR SCHRADER PROCLAIMED OCTOBER 30TH AS "2ND ANNUAL CAMP � MANISON FAMILY DAY FOR UNITED WAY" AND PRESENTED THE PROCLAMATION TO KITTEN HAJECATE AND LUCY WOLTZ WHO PROVIDED A BRIEF OUTLINE OF THE DAYS PLANNED EVENTS . MAYOR SCHRADER PRESENTED THE "KEY TO THE CITY" TO MS. LAURIE WHITEHEAD IN HONOR OF ALL THAT SHE HAS CONTRIBUTED TQ THE CITY OF FRIENDSWO.OD . COUNCILMEMBER WICKLANDER ANNOUNCED THAT MS . MELISSA EDWARDS , MS . GALVESTON COUNTY TEEN WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN THE MISS TEXAS U .S. TEEN . COUNCILMEMBER WICKLANDER REMINDED EVERYONE THAT ABSENTEE VOTING BEGINS WEDNESDAY , OCTOBER 19TH AND THAT ALL REGISTERED VOTERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE ABSENTEE.
