WAS HELD ON SEPTEMBER 21 , 1987 AT CITY HALL AT 7 : 00 PM WITH THE

RIGHT OF WAY REGARDING ONE OF THE CITY ' S PROJECTS .
COUNCILMAN LEE REPORTED THAT SHE HAD l4ET WITH COUNCILHfAN fiARRELL
REGARDING COUNCIL POLICY ON REIt9BURSEr1ENTS AS REQUESTED BY
COUNCIL AND TfiE CITY SECRETARYtS STAFF HAS GATHERED INFORMATION
ON THIS SUBJECT AND HOPE TO HAVE WRITTEN REPORT NEXT 4JEEK .
COUNCILMAN NEWMAN STATED SHE HAS A CONFLICT WITH THE TEXAS
MUNICIPAL LEAGUE CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN FT . WORTH AND REGRETS
SHE WIi.L BE UNABLE' TO ATTEND THE MEETING .
CITY MANAGER REPORTED THAT TRAX CONSTRUCTORS HAS REPORTED TtiEY
WOULD BE BACK ON THE JOB BY SEPTEt4BER 23 , THE PROJECT IS MORE
THEN ONE HALF COMPLETED AND SHOULD GO F�STER �N THE OTHER SIDE OF
TI�E STREET . CITY MANAGER REPOATED TF�ERE IS WORK GOING ON AT THE
BRIDGE OVER CLEAR CREEK WITH UTILITY LINES BEI.NG MOVED BUT THE
STATE DOES NOT EiAVE A CONSTRUCTION DATE XET BUT WILL GIVE THE
CITY TWO WEEK NOTICE BEFORE CONSTRUCTION BEGINS . CITY MANAGER
REPORTED SHE HAD A CALL TODAY FROr9 HERr1AN JOHNSTON WITH SERVICE
ENTERPRISE AND HE STATED HE HAS TWO HOPEFUL BUYERS FOR THE TANK
ON THE GROUND AND NEGOTIATTON WILL HAVE TO BE WORKED OUT ON Tf1E
CREDITS . COUNCILMAN NEWMAN ASKED THE CITY MANAGER WHY TRAX PULLED
OF THE STREETS AND HAS NOT BEEN DOING ANY WORK AT ALL THE LAST
WEEK TO 10 DAYS WITH THE CITY MANAGER RESPONDING THAT ON IMPERIAL
DRIVE THEY WERE LETTING THE CONCRETE CURE BUT IT COMPLETED ITS
CURE A WEEK AGO THURSDAY AND THE OTHER STREETS ALSO fiAVE CONCRETE
CURING . COUNCILMAN WICKLANDER ASKED DO WE KNOW HQW MANY RAIN
DAYS THEY ' VE HAD WITH THE CITY MANAGER STATING SHE DID NOT KNOW
BUT THEY HAD ROUGHLY 54 DAYS LEFT ON THE PROJECT .
MAYOR LOWE LEFT THE COUNCIL CIiAMBERS AT THIS TIME .

THE CONCESSION STAND AND RESTROOM FACILITY AT RENWICK PARK WITH
NO ACTION HEING TAKEN . �
MAYOR LOWE RETURNED TO THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT THIS TIME .

CITY IN RELATION TO THE DEATH AT THE FRIENDSWOOD LINK BRIDGE . ';

ASSESSMENT , LEVY , ANA CQLLECTIOt� OF AD VALOREt�1 TAXES OF THE CITY
OF FRIEIJDSWOOD , TEXAS � FOR THE YEAR 1987 AND FOR EACH YEAR.
THEREAFT'ER UNTIL OTHERWISE PROVIDED ; PROVIDING THE DATE ON WHICH
SUCH TAXES SHALL BE DUE AND PAYABLE ; PROVIDING FOR PEtJALTY AND
