MAYOR LOWE REPORTED HE TALKED TO HARRIS COUNTY REGARDING THE ROAD
WIDENING PROJECT FOR FM 528 AND FM 2351 FOR AN ESTIr9ATED COST OF
IIETWEEN $1 AND $4 MILLION DOLLARS THE COUNTY STATES TI3E CITY
WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR . IT APPEARS THE STATE HAS �1 NEW PROGRAM
WHERE IT APPEARS IF THE CITY QUALIFIES THE STAT� WILL PICK UP
SOME OF THE COST . MR . AL CALLOWAY WITH COMMISSIONER EL FRANCO
LEE ' S OFFICE WILL PUT TOGETHER A MEETING DETWEEN THE STATE ,
COUNTY AND. THE CITY 0�' FRIENDSWOOD TO DISCUSS THIS POSSIBILITY .

INLETS FOR A COST TO THE CITY OF $7 , 370 . 00 . MAYOR LOWE STATED
HE HAD SPOKEN TO LEONARD BENSIK WITH THE STATE HIGHWAX DEPARTA9ENT
AND WITH GALVESTON COUNTY COMMISSIONER RON CROWDER AND THEY HAVE
AGREED TQ SHARE THE COST TO RE—DESIGN THESE INLETS AT NO COST TO
THE CITY . MAYOR LOWE REQUESTED THE CITY MANAGER TO PURSUE THIS
