MAYOR LOWE ANNOUNCED THE CLEAR CREEK AGREEMENT WILL BE SIGNED MONDAY AT 2: 00 PM ON TOP OF THE KEMAH BRIDGE AND INVITED EVERYQNE TO ATTEND . , � . MAYOR LOWE REPORTED HE ATTENDED A PROPERTY TAX MEETING IN LA MARQUE WITH ALTA CARBONE , TAX COLLECTOR AND COUNCILMAN HARRELL ATTENDING FROM FRIENDSWOOD ALONG WITH REPRESENTATIVES FROM SURROUNDIN(3 CITIES. MAYOR LOWE STATED HE FELT THE CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT IS HAVING A CHANGE OF ATTZTUDE AND FEELS POSITIVE CITIES WILL SEE RESULTS FROM THIS MEETING . MAYOR LOWE REMINDED COUNCIL THE CHARTER REVIEW COMMITTEE NEEDS TO BE APPOINTED ON JULY 7 � 1986 AND COUNCIL SHOULD BE PREPARED TO SUBMIT NAMES FOR CONSIDERATION . A LENGTHY DISCUSSION WAS HELD REGARDING PROPOSALS FOR ADVANCED REFUNDING WITH COUNC.IL BEING MADE AWARE THAT OTHER COMPANIES ARE � INTERESTED IN THIS PROPOSAL AND WOULD LIKE TO MAKE PRESENTATIONS FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION . MR . JIM GRIMSRUD WITH E . F . HUTTON REQUESTED THAT E . F . HUTTON BE CONSIDERED FOR CO-UNDERWRITERS TO WORK WTTH UNDERWOOD NEUHAUS AND INTRODUCED MR. TERRY TIERNEY , SR . VICE-PRESIDENT FOR E . F . HUTTON . MR . FRANK ILDEBRANDO WITH UNDERWOOD NEUHAUS STATED HE FELT A UNDERWRITER IS NOT NECESSARY FOR THIS ADVANCED REFUNDING . MR . PAUL MAAZ , TEXAS COMMERCE BANK-FRIENDSWOOD REQUESTED THEY BE CONSIDERED AS CO-MANAGER AND CO-UNDERWRITERS FOR THIS PROPOSAL . MR . FRANK ILDEBRANDO WITH UNDERWOOD NEUHAUS STATED HE FELT UNDERWOOD NEUHAUS SHOULD BE MANAGING UNDERWRITERS . *+�MOTION WAS MADE BY COUNCILMAN NEWMAN TO AUTHORIZE UNDERWOOD NEUHAUS AS PRIMARY MANAGER WITH TEXAS COMMERCE BANK AS CO- MANAGER AND E . F . HUTTON , PAYNE WEBBER , TEXAS COMMERCE BANK AND ���1i UNDERWOOD NEUHAUS AS UNDERWRITERS AND WILL WORK OUT DIVISION OF FEES . SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN WICKLANDER . MOTION APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY . 1 92 FRANK ILDEBRANDO WITH UNDERWOOD NEUHAUS ADVISED THEY WILL RETURN IN APPR4XIMATELY THREE WEEKS TO RECOMMEND A PAYING AGENT AND ESCROW AGENT FOR THIS ADVANCED REFUNDING. CITY MANAGER REPORTED THE ESTIMATED COST ON THE BOX CULVERTS " AT COWARDS CREEK WILL BE APPROXIMATELY $30 , 000 . COUNCIL REQUESTED CITY MANAGER ADVISE WHERE THESE FUNDS WILL COME FROM AND AL�SO REQUESTED THE CITY ENGINEER ADVISE IF THERE IS ANY ALTERNATIVE . COUNCIL CONCURRED WITH THE CITY MANAGER TO GO OUT FOR BIDS ON . ,, THIS PROJECT. COUNCIL DISCUSSED THE REPLACEMENT OF THE FRIENDSWOOD LINK BRIDGE AND THE FACT THE BRIDGE WILL NEED TO BE CLOSED DOWN , COUNCIL REQUESTED THE CITY MANAGER FIND OUT THE TIME FRAME FOR THE BRIDGE TO BE GLOSED AND CONSIDER A METHOD OF ADVISING THE HOMEOWNERS . COUNCILMAN LEE REPORTED SHE IS CONCERNED ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE FOREST BEND BUILDING . MAYOR LOWE REQUESTED COUNCILMAN LEE TALK TO THE FAIR PLAY COMMTTTEE ABOUT THIS AND POSSIBLY GO OVER AND LOOK AT THE BUILDING . MOTION WAS MADE AND APPROVED TO ADJOURN AT 6 : 20 PM. � M OR RALPH L .
