WAS HELD ON OCTOBER 14 , 1985 AT CITY HALL AT 7 : 00 PM WITH THE

DISCUSSION WAS HELD REGARDING AUTHORIZATION FC?R THE CITY ENGINEER
TO PREFARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS F'OR SANJTARY SEWER ON MILLS
DRIV E, MURFHY LANE, AND BRIARMEADOW WI�'H COUNCTL CONCURRING 7.'HAT
THE CITY MANAGER SHOULD HAV E TH� CITY ENGINEER PROCEED.
DISCUSSION WAS HELD REGARDING ADJUSTMENT OF FUNDING IN PARKS AND
RFGREATION GRANT FOR MUNICIPAL SWIMMING POOL WITH COUNCILMAN LEE .
AND GOUNCILMAN JORDAN REPORTING TH .F.Y HAD MET WITH PF�RKS AND
WILDLIFE AND LARRY SPECK, THE RECOMNI�NDAT7.ON WAS TO CHANGE THE
PLANS FOR A SMALLER POOL AND THEN APPLY FOR A GRANT FOR A SECOND
POOL ADJACENT TO TFiE FIR5T POOL. COUNCILMAN WICKLANDER REQUESTED
COUNCILMAN LEE AND JORDAN TO LOOK AT OTHER POSSIBLILITIES OF
FINANCING AND REPORT BACK NEXT WEEK .
CITY MANAGER REPORTED THAT ON SOUTH SHADOWBEND THE CURBS WERE
INSTALLED ON THE INSIDE AND EXCAVATION HAD BEGUN ON THE
OUTSIDE. COUNCILMAN WICKLANDER ASKED ABOUT NORTH SHADOW BEND WITH
CITY MANAGER ADVISING I�E WAS HAVING TR.OUBLE LOCATING OWNERS OF
THREE PIECES OF PROPERTY WITH COUNCIL ASKING CITY MANAGER. TO
WRITE LETTERS TO LAST KNUWN OWNERS AND GN E THEM TEN DAYS TO
RESPOND AS TAEY WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE PRUJECT COMPLETED.
CITY MANAGER REFORTED THE COATING ON THE INSIDE OF THE WATER
TOWER HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED THEN WQULD BE READY TO PUMP WATER IN
TO CHECK FOR LEAKS. BIDS AND SPECIFICATIONS HAV E BEEN PREPARED
FOR THE BOOSTER PUMPS FOR THE WATER TOWER. THE OU`�'SIUE PAINTING
IS SEPARATE AND WILL NOT BEGIN UNTIL TOWER IS COMPLETED. THE
COUNTY ROAD DEPARTMENT HAS PUT PRIME COAT ON NORTH CLEAR CREEK
DRIV E AND BUTL�R� WILL PUT ON ROCK AND ASPHALT ON THESE STREETS
TOM4RROW, WHEN THIS IS COMPL�T�D, THEY WILL �3E PUTTING FLY ASH ON
CLEARVIEW AND THEN WILL START ON MARY ANN AND MELODY LANE.
