WADL�TNG'1'UN STA7'ED TO DO FM 528 THE EXISTING 100 FEET USING CUR.S AND GU`I'7.'ER WUULD BE ADEQUATE. TO USE OPEN DITCf�FS, A MINIMUM OF 17.0 FEET WOULD BE NEEDED WHICH CAN BE TAKEN FROM EITHER SIDE, THE DATE F'OR THIS CONSTRUCTION IS SET FOR LATE 1987 . MR. WADI,INGTON STATFD I'1' WAS THE LOCAL GOVERNMENTS RESPONSIBILITY 7'O ACQCI:iRE RIGHT OF WAY. TO SPEED UP THE CONSTRUCTION DATES THE CITY CUULD WORK QUICKLY TO ACQUIRE TE�E RIGHT OF WAYS AND HAVE THE U�l'ILITIF�S MOVED. HARRIS COUNTY ACQUIRES THEIR RIGHT OF WAY BUT 7.'HFI�R RIGHT OF WAY BUDGET IS VERY LOW. MAYOR LOWE STATED THE CITY ENGINEER WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO MEET WITH SOMEONE FRUM THE STATE ON THE DRIVE4�AYS PLANNED IN THE AREA OF THE FIRE 5TATION IN URDER TO GET THEM ON THE PLANS BEFORE THEY ARE SENT TO AUSTIN . MR. FRANK MOON OF BFRNARD JOHNSON PRFSENTED THE FINAL REPORT ON THE CLEAR CREEK DRAINAGE IMPRCI�EMEr1T STUDY WHICH WAS PAID F'OR BY THE STATE PAYING 75$ AND THE CI�IES OF LEAGUE CITY AND � FRIENDSWOOD PAYING 25$ .
