MAYOR LOWE RECOGNIZED MAYOR JOE LAMB AND MAYOR PRO-TEM ED POOLE OF LEAGUE CITY AND REPORTED ON THE PROGRESS OF THE SAFETY VALVE PROJECT FOR CLEAR CREEK FLOOD CONTROL . **A MOTION WAS MADE BY COUNCILMAN WICKLANDER TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BERNARD JOHNSON ENGINEERING FIRM FOR � AN ENGINEERING STUDY FOR THE SAFETY VALVE PROGRAM. DISCUSSED WITH COUNCIL REQUIREMENTS INVOLVED IN TESTING OF GAS STATION FAC,ILITIES , WITH QUESTIONS BEING ASKED REGARDING COST AND HOW OFTEN TESTS ARE REQUIRED . j THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT--REVISIONS TO THE FIRE CODE WAS TABLED UNTIL NLX -- MEETING OF COUNCIL . !
