SPECIAL MEETING

MINUTES
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm with the following members present:

none
3. DISCUSSION ITEMS
A Discuss the Community and Economic Development Committee Small Business Week
planning and programming.
CDEC is partnering with the Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Downtown Friendswood
Association, and Rotary for Small Business Week — April 28th through May 4th. Carol
Marcantel with Friendswood Chamber of Commerce, Scott MacKenzie with Rotary, and
Shanna Kirkpatrick with Friends of Downtown Friendswood Association were present. A list of
ideas generated by Kyle, Andrea, and Susan was presented to the group; Monday, a Kickoff
coffee will be held; Tuesday through Thursday, various educational events will occur; and
Friday will end with a gathering on the Chambers patio.

The meeting adjourned at 5:30 pm.
