HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Minutes 1972-11-11 Public Hearing Y PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION OF STRIPS EAST OF CLEAR CREEK ' November 11 1972 In accordance with law, and after publication of a Notice of Public Hearing, a hearing was held in the Council Chamber at Friendswood City Hall at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11 , 1972, affording an opportunity for persons to be heard on the subject of annexation of three strips of land running eastward from the City Limits line along Clear Creek and following FM 528, FM 2351, and a service pipeline. Mr. Harold Wallace of Mortgage and Trust, and his attorney Mr. Paul Martin of Fulbright, Crooker in Houston were in attendance on the basis of their interest in future development of adjoining areas. Mr. Tom Stutz representing the Wedgewood Civic Club was also present as well as representatives from Sun Meadow and Tower Estates. The meeting consisted wholly of a discussion of the area in question and no oppogition to the annexation was made. The hearing was adjourned at approximately 5 p.m. Bobbie C.
