MINUTES OF A SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 14, 1969
A Special Meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Somers
for the purpose of acting on a bond order regarding the City's refunding
bonds . The following members were present, constituti�ng a quorum:
Ralph W. Somers Mayor
George F. Prude Councilman
Edward F, Stuart Councilman
Ronald Hamil Councilman
With Councilmen Thomas Woods and James Mager absent, the following business
was transacted:
Fiscal Agent Harry Granberry stated that, as a prerequisite to completion
of the bond transaction, it would be necessary for the Council to adopt an
� ordinance as presented; the ordinance was read in its entirety, including
�j as a final article the words, "That this ordinance shall be fully effective
r,_, from and after its adoption.”

Ordinance No. 122 is made a part of these minutes by reference and has been
lodged in the permanent Ordinance Files of the City.

Warrant #3180 (General ) was presented for approval . Motion to approve made
by Councilman Prude, seconded by Councilman Stuart, and carried unanimously.

Vote: Unanimous. The meeting was adjourned.

ADDENDA TO MINUTES OF JULY 14, 1969: On Tuesday, July 15, a certificate
was signed by Councilman Woods and Councilman Mager stating "That I hereby
ratify, adopt, confirm and a��prove all proceedings had by said City Council
at said SPECIAL MEETING," both certificates having now been attached and
made a part of the aforementi��ned Ordinance No. 122.
