Present were: Ralph Somers Mayor Edward Stuart Councilman Thomas Woods Councilman James Mager Councilman Ronald Hamil Councilman George Prude Councilman L. B. Cline City Administrator With all members of the Council present, the business was transacted as follows: �� Fiscal Agent Harry Granberry presented five ordinances which he stated it N would be necessary for the Council to adopt in order tn finalize the bond ^� sale to Underwood-Neuhaus & Co. , Inc. Consequently the ordinances were read � and adopted, each including as a final article the words , "That this ordinance `� shall be fully effective from and after its adoption. " � ORDINANCE N0. 121-A - (Approved and adopted on first and final reading) ORDINANCE RATIFYING THE MAKING OF THE PROVISIONS OF, AND MAKING THE PROVISIONS OF, ARTICLE 1182-c-1 , VERNON 'S ANNOTATED TEXAS CIVIL STATUTES, APPLICABLE TO THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD. Motion: Councilman Stuart; Second: Councilman Woods; Vote: Unanimous ORDINANCE N0. 121-B - (Approved and adopted on first and final reading) AN QRDINANCE RATIFYING THE TAKING OVER BY THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD OF GALUESTON COUNTY WATER CONTROL AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 15, AND ORDERING SUCi� TAKING OVER, AND ABOLISNING SAID DISTRICT. Motion: Councilman Mager; Second: Councilman Prude; Vote: Unanimous ORDINANCE N0. 121-C - (Approved and adopted on first and final reading) AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING THE TAKING OVER BY THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD OF GALVESTON COUNTY WATER CONTROL AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 21 , AND ORDERING SUCH TAKING OVER, AND ABOLISHING SAID DISTRICT. ' ORDINANCE N0. 121-D - (Approved and adopted on first and final reading) AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, GENERAL OBLIGATION REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 1969; $257,000. Motion: Councilman Hamil ; Second: Councilman Mager; Vote: Unanimous , ORDINANCE N0. 121-E - (Approved and adopted on first and final reading) ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, WATERWORKS AND SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1969, $700,000. �1�, 6-23-69 �Motion: Councilman Woods; Second: Councilman Hamil ; Vote: Unanimous Motion made by Councilman Woods that the Special Meeting adjourn; Seconded by Councilman Mager; Vote: Unanimous .
