COMMISSI�I�T, MARCH 30, 1965.
A special meetirng of the Friendswood City Council and Planning
Commission was held March 30, 1965; 6:00 P.M. at the City Hall for the
purpose of discussing the proper method of issuance �f bu3lding permits
and more particularly the request for a building permit by Mr.
Brautioam.
Present were Harry Wagner, DaZe Brown, Marvin Childers, Harry
Hatcher, Arden Hill, H.K. Speck: i�T.L. Boyle, Tony Banfield, A.J. i�Ioek,
Dean Saurenman, and Leo Havard.
After discussion, H.K. S�eck made the follawing motion that establishes
policy on the issuance af buildin5 permits:
Permit vuill be applied for at the office of the City Secr•etary;
at �h3.s time it will also be referred to the Utilities D�partment ior
approval of water and sewer.
Permit will then be referred to the Building Inspeetor for approval to
proceed with canstructian of proposed building (etc. ) . If there is any
question by the Building Inspect�r at this iime, he will refer the
permit to the Planning Commission. The Planning Cammission will either
approve the permit, or if �hey disappr�ve it, there is fin.al recourse
to the City Council.

H.K, Speck made a motion that Dale Br-own wr•ite a letter ta Mr. �rauti�,am
explaining Cit3T Council decisions on procedure of issuance af builcting
permits sar two houses to be constructed on a 10�x 100 lot on the
c;orner o#' Sh.adow'�end Avei3ue and Mor•ningsic�e Drive (Blaei� 2- Pt, c�i
Lot 12); Motion seconded �y F�iarvin Childers; motion inanimous.
Arden Hill made a mation that warra�lts �233 through �36 be approved.
Motion seconded b� H.K. Speck and carried unanimously.
