Mr. Camp read a 3etter fro?n Herbert E. �chmidt , a Galve�ton
Cour�ty en�ineer a� to �x what Galveston �o�znty's specificatic�ns
are on street�. Tte letter stated that streets on the i���ainland
snould be sixty feet in width with pro�er draina�e and tne streets
on Bolivar Peninsula �should be fifty fe�t in wid.�h with proper
draina�e.
v. C. .�ost made a moticn that the City of Friendswood acce�t
the petition that was voted on on 5eptember 29, 1962 as a part
of the city. tiarry r�atcher seconded the motion, the motion
carried unar_imoualy. This trans�ction is covered by Ordinance �18.
Ben Co�eland asked that somethin� be done about the draina�e
problem at his ?�ome . He was advised that whatever we can get
the county to do will be done.

contact t�ir. 0. o. Terrell and have hi_m m�et with the council at
t��e next �neetin� and discuss t�e Fro�lem, r�r. Eason also stated

be lowered as t'�e line sho;�s above the sLirface in nany places.
