moti��ned that the minutes be acce�ted as rea� , Pete Workman
secended the mot��n, motion pas.; ed unanimousl�.
A letter was circulated ar�on� tne council from Jud�e �eter J.
LajTalle as to what the county has set as s��.ndards for new
su�diaisions throu�hout the count�.
I�ia�ror Ca�p advised tlie council. that 'ne ha� met with the s:�.fe��
committ;ee fr�m the Friendswood Indepen.dent achool t�istrict along
with �ouncil:n �n rete Workman. 11rs �onnie Bailey w�s chirr�an of
the uommittee representing �he school. The Committee sug�ested
that we haT,re one way traflic around the sehool between tne hours
of 7 :30 A.M. to 8 :3� A.1tii. and from 2: 15 P.M. to 4:00 P.t�i. Pete
Workman moti"ned that we arx�rave the one way traffic �1an around
the school as laid out b;� the safet� comMittee from the school
and also the purcha:e o� necessary s��ns to lay out this course,

; � Fred krc� brought up the possibilities of gettin� speed limit
sig�s pat up or the road that leads from Ellington llrive to the
school. This road �asses tc the side of his reside��ce and he
sta�ed that the traffic is operating on t'r_is road at a rate that
makes it unsafe for the children on the road. iylost of the children
that live on thi� ro�� , �¢��� walk to school on it.

l�epartment about signs to put out on the hi�hway to indicate school
crossangs etc.
Final ��lot rl�:n of Vlear ureek `utioods was presented for approval bv
r1r. Doyle and Mr. E�son. C . C. Bost motioned that we a��rove the
presen�ed plan subject to the approval of the �:it,y �ngineer and
a letter from t�1r. i�oyle and NTr. r;as�n as to tl�e specifications of
the streets that will t�t�t into this subdivision. rete Workman
seconded the moti�n and the motion passed un.animously.

subdivisions to be annexed b� the City of �'rien.dsw��od for September
2�, 1962, 7 :00 A.i�. to 7 :00 r.tV1. at Workman 's Realty. Mr. Camp
will act �s elec�ion jud�e.
