plan under -consider�tion and advise interested �arty at a later date.
t�like Romeike asked the council to approve the abandoment of a dedicated
road that borders his subdivision Almas .�erdidas. i�he couz�cil decided
ta take thia �p with the city attorney as to what we ean or can't do.
�Ir. Romeike will be ad�rised of his decision.
i;laire Kuiper brough� up the pr�ble� that exi.sts on Choat xoad between
:��arm to 1�1a,rke�� xoad 518 and the co�nty line. Jack Lawrence is to be
no�ified of the holes in the road,
N1r. Kuiper also advised that i�lear Creek ma;� be straightened Qut,
clean�d ou� and widened. �.e said �h�t interested people in �ashi_n�ton
have been notified and that there is a� bill up for observation ,
IYIr. Kuiper alsa stated that he �ould Iike to see the ca.t� assess a
__ tax that would improve the fire denar.�tment and in turn. would lower '
� the insurance rates of the real estate in the city. ulaire mentioned

`l'he hearing on the suspension of �sill a�ierchant was had . Mr. P�erchant
stated that there was no ill feelings betv�een he and an�one concerned.

departmen�. He assumed that he was sus�ended because of giving seven
tickets in or�e afternoc�n.

�et by the plannin� committe�.

our building� permits, and building codes. Harry t�atcher seconded this
� ! motion, moti�n passed. This ordinanee is �o be prepared b� next
; meeting.
F�'he city amrees that if the cou�ty will oil our shell streets we will
ac�cept the responsibiiity of all cQm�laints.
