� 1962. Present were : P�Iayor : Kenneth Camp ; Counczlmen : C. C. Bost,
Zeon Broc,m, G. V . Greathouse, riarry natcher and Pete Workman. Also
presert were �3r. �urti� i��orris, representin� w�att C. Hedrick and
ivlr. �1ack Darst representing Louis Paul: & Co.
Zeon Brown moved fnat G. v . Greathouse be appointed �it�l Secretary.
H�rry Hatcher sec�r�ded the m�tion. tYi�tion carried .
Minutes of the last meetin� were read an.d apN�roved as read .
Jack D�rst , repre�entir� Louis rauls & Co. , a company deal?ng� with
the sale of various l�inds of bor.ds gave a brief discussion on the
future sale of bonds in the citp of r'riendswoo� .
tu1r. �;urtis l�torris, representin�; Watt u. Hedrick g�tve a brief outline
of the long ran�e cit--� ar urban p�anning in the city of Frien�swood.
Leon �srown moved that we a�point �i�att C. Hedrick as a consultan.t
-to aid the cit;� of Friendswoad for urban planning. This �will be
submitted to Henr� A. HoZle, M.D. , �ammissioner of health, State
Department of Health, Austin l, Texas . The mati�n was seccnded
by C. C. tsost, Motion carried. The fee to be paid by the citv of
Friendswood f or this service will be � 1,000.00 over a two year
period or � 500.00 per year f or two ,years . The total fee for the
plannin� service is � 2,000.00 of which the Galveston County Water
� �ontrol t� Improvement District �15 will contribute $ 1,000.00 and
the cit,y of ��riendswood will contribute � 1,000.00.
By method of dr�wing, it w_�s decided th�t Mavcr, Ken ��mp and
Coumcilmen, rete Workman ar�d G. V. Greathouse will serve a two
gear term from the past elect�on whicb will ex�ire in 1964.
Councilmen, �. u. �ost , Leon �rown, and Harry Hatcher will serve
a one ,year term which will expire in 1963 at which time they will
have the orportunity to seek re-election.
1�4a�or Camp appainted Councilmen Pete Workman l�a�or Pro-�l°em and
�arry Hatcher, City Treasurer. Leon Brown maved that we accept
the appointments . 1�1oti :� seconded by C. C. Bost . i��otion carried .
ri�,yor Carnp brought the council up to date on his meeting with the
Texas .,ity council and the action taken. After a discussion of
Urdinance �l� Pete Workman moved that we accept and file same.

New meetin� ni�;hts were discu:�sed. I.�eon Brown. su-;gested tnat we
meet on the lst � third Nlondav,� of each mor�th instead of the 2nd
and 4th ��!ondays. Leon Brcawn moved that we chan�e our meet�n� days
as explained . v. C. Bost seconded the motion. i�lotion c�rried .
